Wilder West Norfolk – Nature Restoration and Wild Ken Hill
Saturday 10th October 2026 8am – 11am
Snettisham
Suitable for children 12 years and older – they should be comfortable walking in a range of weather conditions and up to two and a half hours.
Join a member of the Wild Ken Hill team for a guided walk through some of the project’s most interesting habitats, and see how rewilding and traditional conservation have transformed the landscape into a wildlife haven.
The route covers a variety of terrain including marshland footpaths, farm tracks and grassland which can be bumpy under foot. Conditions could be wet and muddy depending on the weather. The walk will start with a section of sea wall, and extra layers of clothing are recommended as it could be windy.
Parking
The car park operates an ANPR system which has a £5 charge. For free parking, participants can provide their car registration number by Wednesday 7th October so that we can share this with the car park operator.
