
Take a stroll along the beach with a difference. Join nature explorer Jon Tyler to sift through the foreshore for funky fossils, rare rocks and marvellous minerals. Learn more about the numerous seaweeds, seashells and rock pool creatures to be found in the intertidal zone. As we plod the pebbles make use of beachcomber guides to recognise the various creatures and features of the strandline. So come along to seek out sea wash-balls and maybe experience a prawn manicure too on this adventure between the tides.
The beach will be rocky and uneven under foot there will also be slippery surfaces and rock pools.
