
Darrow Farm Walk & Word Play at Denton’s Hangman’s Hill

Creative heritage walk, suitable for families. Join Emily and Kasia at Darrow Green Farm for a walk up to Hangman’s Hill and the Motte and Bailey.
Arriving at the National Trust site, you will find out about local history and Darrow Green Farm’s sustainable farming methods. You will also have the chance to engage in creative play with words and learn about medieval ink. The second half of the walk will take you along the hedgerows and flower margins and, on returning to Darrow Green Farm there will be the opportunity to buy produce.
Distance 1.5 miles. A family event for all ages, there is an option to do a shorter walk (1km) for those with very small children or who are less mobile.
