Amble to Abel Heath – A walk for the Natural Connections Project with Pathmakers.
Thank you for your interest in Natural Connections – this is our newest project that is funded by Offshore Wind Farms Community through Norfolk Community Foundation. Our aim is to connect people like you, that live in the town and want to get out and walk in and around the three chosen towns – Aylsham, Dereham and North Walsham.
The walks will be a great opportunity to talk to one of Pathmakers trustees or Jon about the walk leader training that is also part of Natural Connections. The offer includes a certified first aid course that focuses on what might be needed when out with others on a walk, an introduction to planning a walk (assessing risk, routes and safeguarding) and help to plan and deliver your own walk during our Walk Norfolk walking festival (September/October) in your area. We are in the process of getting the entire course certified with a governing body – a Walk Leader qualification that is structured to build confidence in your ability to organise more walking opportunities within your town.
This walk is FREE to attend and each walker is invited to enjoy a tea, coffee or soft drink at the end.
