The Women who made Norwich

14 June 2025 13:30 - 14 June 2025 15:00

Women have, of course, played a crucial role in the history of our fine city. However, their role in this story has often been neglected or under-appreciated. This tour aims to tell the story of some of the many women whohave contributed to the history of Norwich. On this walk, we’ll visit places associated with women such as Edith Cavell, Amelia Opie (on the poster), Elizabeth Fry, Sarah Glover and Mary Chapman.
