Pathmakers (“Our”, “Us” and “We”) Box Office – Terms and Conditions of Sale and Booking .
These are the terms and conditions for all those walkers who sign up for a walk with Pathmakers or one of their walking partners.
1. Online Box Office Arrangements
a. These full terms and conditions apply to tickets sold through our online booking system on our website and via ticket tailor. These terms and conditions should be read prior to purchase, as purchase of a ticket means you accept all the terms and conditions.
b. The information contained in this website has been prepared solely for the purpose of providing information about walks and events and making online bookings for these.
c. By accessing this site you will be assuming all risks associated with the use of this site, including risk of your computer, software or data being damaged by any virus which might be transmitted or activated via Our box office site or your access to it.
d. You will only use this website for personal use.
2. Tickets
a. Tickets for sale online are subject to availability.
b. You should check your ticket at the time of purchase and contact Pathmakers immediately on info@www.pathmakers.org.uk if there is a mistake.
c. We will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost, stolen or destroyed.
d. The price of the ticket includes any applicable taxes and booking or collection fees.
3. Delivery
Tickets will be supplied by email for you to print out. If you have no facilities to print a ticket, please bring the tickets along on your phone and we can scan the QR code from there.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
a. Once tickets have been paid for We are unable to provide a refund.
b. Any booking fee that is paid is non refundable.
c. If a walk is postponed due to inclement weather that walk will be rescheduled as soon as practicably possible
d. Any postage and/or card charges are non-refundable.
5. Cancellation
It is your responsibility to ascertain whether the event you have booked has been cancelled or rescheduled. We will endeavor to let you know by email in advance of the event. (see also Refunds and Exchanges).
6. Conditions of admission
a. We reserve the right to refuse admission to a walk or event.
b. We reserve the right to request patrons to leave the premises.
c. You should retain your ticket as it may be required for re-admission.
d. You must comply with safety announcements and instructions given by the stewards.
7. The Walks
a) RISK
Walking is an adventurous activity with a risk of personal discomfort accident injury or even death. The terrain can be uneven slippery involve obstacles such as stiles roads water crossings and fields of animals. Additionally the weather may prove challenging. For all these reasons walkers must play close attention to safety information provided by the walk leader before and during a walk.
b) FITNESS
A reasonable level of appropriate fitness and ability is required for walks as the natural environment can be demanding at times. All walkers must have suitable outdoor footwear and clothing.
c) HEALTH
Walkers are responsible for their own health. If you require medical assistance in the case of an emergency then the walk leader may use their best judgement to independently seek out qualified medical assistance but you accept that it is not the walk leaders duty to do so. You understand that your health always remains your responsibility.
d) RESPONSIBILITY
Pathmakers accepts no responsibility for your personal accidents injury or death. Pathmakers accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to your personal effects or for your indirect financial loss. Pathmakers liability to you for any reason whatsoever is limited to the booking cost of your chosen walk. You agree to waive any claim that you may have now or in the future against Pathmakers or our walk leader for any injury or any other losses which may arise from your participation in a Pathmakers walk except if such liability cannot be excluded by law.
e) COMPLAINTS
Pathmakers is committed to making your walk with us as enjoyable and as safe as possible. If for any reason you are not satisfied with something then please bring this to the attention of your walk leader as soon as possible and ideally at the time it occurs. The walk leader will attempt to resolve your concern as far as reasonably possible bearing in mind the walk and group conditions. If resolution is not immediately possible then please record your complaint and email it to info@pathmakers.org within four weeks of the date of your walk. Your complaint should outline in reasonable detail your concern or dissatisfaction what has been attempted to resolve it and what your preferred resolution would be. Pathmakers will consider your complaint and update you on progress until conclusion.
f) CHANGES DURING THE WALK
The pre-planned route may be subject to change during the walk due to adverse weather conditions physical changes to the walk (e.g. fallen trees broken fences etc.) pace of the group fitness and ability levels accidents or injuries etc. In extreme circumstances a walk may be terminated. The decision to change or terminate the walk is at the sole discretion of the walk leader.
g) AGE
All walkers must be 18 years old or over or accompanied by a responsible adult .
h) DOGS
Guide dogs and other support dogs are welcome on a walk. Other dogs are allowed with the consent of the walk leader whose decision is final
i) PHOTOGRAPHS
Photos and videos may be taken on all walks. We never include identifying personal information when we use these images in publicity material. If you do not consent to this please inform your walk leader at the start of a walk. If you are accompanying someone under 18 years of age please inform the walk leader if you do not want that under age person appearing in any photo.
7. Accuracy
The information contained within this site is correct at time of being published. We reserve the right to make alterations where necessary and are not liable for any subsequent omissions.
